5. Program Visibility and Activation

By default, your cashback earning rule is paused at the end of onboarding. This means your loyalty program is set up, but not active yet: customers will not yet earn points or receive invitation emails. 

When you’re ready to go live, enable the cashback rule under Earning rules to activate your program.

Can people see my loyalty program once the onboarding is done?

After finalizing the onboarding flow, your loyalty program is configured in the Crowny App but remains inactive until you enable your cashback earning rule. Even once active, customers can only access your program through a direct invitation from you. This ensures that only customers you intentionally invite can join and start earning points.

Why can’t anybody see my program in the Crowny App?

Depending on the main goal of your loyalty program, your loyalty program is most effective when it focuses on your customers, rather than on everybody you can reach organically. That’s why programs on Crowny aren’t publicly discoverable in the app. Users can only access your program through a direct invitation from you. This gives you full control over who joins and ensures that rewards are distributed intentionally.

How do I prepare my program before activating it?

By default, your cashback earning rule is paused after onboarding. This means your loyalty program is set up, but inactive.

While cashback is paused:

  • customers cannot earn points
  • invitations are not sent
  • no earning rules are active

This gives you time to review your branding, earning rules, and promotions before enabling cashback and thereby launching your program. 

When you’re ready to go live, simply head to Earning Rules and enable the cashback rule.
