5. Program Visibility and Activation
By default, your loyalty program is paused at the end of onboarding. This means your program is set up, but not active yet: customers will not yet earn points or receive invitation emails.
When you’re ready to go live, use the pause/enable switch at the top of the page to enable your loyalty program. Once enabled, customers can earn points through active earning rules and receive invitation emails.
Can people see my loyalty program once the onboarding is done?
After finalizing the onboarding flow, your loyalty program is configured in the Crowny App but remains paused by default. When you’re ready to go live, use the pause/enable switch at the top of the page to enable your program.
Even once enabled, customers can only access your program through a direct invitation from you. This ensures that only customers you intentionally invite can join and start earning points.
Why can’t anybody see my program in the Crowny App?
Depending on the main goal of your loyalty program, your loyalty program is most effective when it focuses on your customers, rather than on everybody you can reach organically. That’s why programs on Crowny aren’t publicly discoverable in the app. Users can only access your program through a direct invitation from you. This gives you full control over who joins and ensures that rewards are distributed intentionally.
How do I prepare my program before activating it?
By default, your loyalty program is paused after onboarding. This means your program is set up, but not active yet.
While your program is paused:
- customers cannot earn points
- invitations are not sent
- earning rules are not active
This gives you time to review your branding, earning rules, and promotions before launching your program.
When you’re ready to go live, use the pause/enable switch at the top of the page to enable your loyalty program.
