2. How Crowny Works (overview)
This article explains how Crowny works at a high level. The goal is to help you understand how the pieces fit together, to make sure you can make better decisions along the way.
Core idea: use your loyalty program to reward customers for actions you value.
We’ve got a diverse set of features to give your program more depth, ensuring even the most engaged members are always encouraged to engage even more. For this series, however, we will focus on the basics.
As a program host, you access our portal to configure:
- What your program looks like
- Which actions you want to reward
- How many points those actions are worth
- What customers can do with the points they earn
Using the Crowny App, your customers:
1. Join your loyalty program
2. Complete actions you value
3. Earn the loyalty points you’ve set
4. Spend those points on a deal in the app
Promotions (or ‘deals’) typically encourage customers to spend more in your store. You can also choose to focus your promotions on providing more exclusive experiences, or something else. It’s your decision.
